Displays, designs and features
The HTC One is the phone from your dreams. It has a beautiful aluminum uni-body design with matte finish and slightly rounded toward the edges, and this combination is absolutely worth praising. There are three variants of shades: silver, gold and black, and some networks offer red models as well. As for the display, it’s Super LCD3 sized at 4.7inches, and it supports a resolution of 1080x1920pixels with 469ppi. Nokia’s Lumia 925 comes with a polycarbonate rear panel with an aluminum frame and contoured PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack display. The change is spectacular, considering that we got used to all those glossy Lumia models which look very cheap. The phone is slimmer, measuring 129×70.6×8.5mm, it weights 139 grams, and the AMOLED screen is sized at 4.5inches. The resolution is 768x1280pixels and the pixel density is 332ppi. Hardware and OS
Inside, the Lumia 925 hosts a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset supporting a dual core 1.5GHz Krait processor along with an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It offers two variants of internal memories of 16 and 32GB, which don’t support expansion, so you’re stuck with them. The original version of the OS is Microsoft Windows Phone 8, but now the phone operates on the 8.1 version.
The HTC One has a quad core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor based on a Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset and it’s coupled with an Adreno 320 GPU. This phone has 2GB of RAM and the internal memories are also unexpandable, with the capacities of 32 and 64GB. The phone came out of the factory with Android v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), then it received the v4.3 (Jelly Bean), and finally, now it operates on v4.4.3 (KitKat).
We concluded that the HTC has a better hardware performance and Android comes with many pre-installed applications and you can download many other from the 700,000 applications from the Android Market, while the Nokia handset has Windows Phone with a limited number of applications.
Cameras
The Lumia 925 is fitted with an 8MP back camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual-LED flash, optical image stabilization and it’s using PureView technology to obtain the best photos in low light conditions. There’s also a 1.3MP camera on the front for video calling.
The HTC One offers a 4Ultrapixel on the back, it can’t beat Nokia’s camera. Both batteries are non-removable and their capacities are: 2000mAh – Lumia 925, which lasts 12 hours and 40 minutes when talking on 3G, and 2300mAh – HTC One, with a total duration of talktime of 18hours.

The Lumia 925 16GB is sold for the price of 300 dollars and the HTC One is 95 dollars more expensive.
