Bitdefender is the creation of a Romanian company called Softwin, which released this software in 2001 for home and business users. This software offers protection for mobile phones in case of loss or theft; it provides secure online transactions, automatic back-ups for files and optimizes your computer. Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 costs 10 dollars less and it provides secure online banking and shopping, online child safety, protection of personal data in social networks and more. There’s another program called Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2015, priced at 50 dollars, stops threats, secures online transactions and personal data protection in social networks. Bitdefender Mobile Security costs 12 dollars and it provides antivirus and web security services for devices with Android operating system and it offers cloud protection and detects even the latest threats without affecting the battery.
But there are also free applications such as Antivirus Free Edition, 60-Second Virus Scanner, QuickScan, Bitdefender USB Immunizer, Anti-Theft, Safego and TrafficLight.
AVG Free Antivirus is one of the products developed by AVG Technologies, a company that was founded in 1992 in Czechoslovakia. To install AVG Antivirus Free 2015 on your device, you’ll need an Intel Pentium 1.8 GHz processor or faster, at least 512 MB of RAM and 1350 MB of free hard disk space.
This program detects and stops all kinds of online threats before they get to your computer or mobile device. The features you’ll get are AntiVirus, AntiMalware, Anti-Rootkit, Email Scanner, Protective Cloud Technology, Community Protection Network, LinkScanner Surf-Shield and Social Networking Protection.
This is a great product, very effective and user friendly, and it’s hard to conclude if it’s more efficient than its competitor, but we’re preferring the Bitdefenter Antivirus because it has more features.
