Nokia Lumia 730 Release Date, Best Specifications, and Price

At IFA 2014 event, Microsoft announced a few devices starting with Nokia Lumia 730, 735 and 830. There is no significant difference between Lumia 730 and Lumia 735 as the only thing that differentiates them is that the 730 model has dual-SIM and supports 3G connections, while the 735 one supports 4G LTE connections.

One of the fanciest things today is the so called “selfie”, which seems that Nokia 730 series of phones is focusing on. The 730 phone can improve the selfies, because it has the front facing camera that comes with some wide-angle lens. These lenses and the fact that the camera is a 5MP one, help you get those perfect selfies you always wanted and with which you’ll fascinate your friends on Facebook. Both of the Lumia 730 and 735 are “budget-friendly” smartphones, but at the same time they come with features that achieve even some high-end smartphone features.

At the IFA event, Microsoft and Nokia did compare their phones with Apple and Samsung’s phones. They used the so-known selfie made by Ellen DeGeneres at this year’s Oscar and she said that if she would have used one a Lumia 730 phone, that picture would have been ten times better.

Nokia Lumia 730 comes with a unique “selfie” application that is pre-installed on the phone. This application can be used to modify the “selfie” pictures by adding effects, filters or brightness. According to Phone Arena this application can be used to whiten teeth or to cover a “black point” that is on your face.

Nokia Lumia 730 comes with a 4.7inch ClearBlack display that supports a resolution of 720x1280pixels at 312ppi. The phone has a quad core Cortex A7 processor, that is clocked at 1.2GHz and for graphics it has an Adreno 305. As for the operating system, it runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 and has 1GB of RAM. Apart from the “selfie” camera that we talked about, it has a 6.7MP camera on the back. Lumia 730 has 8GB of internal memory, but it can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. It has a Li-Ion battery unit of 2200 mAh. The device will come in 4 colors: black, white, green and orange. Nokia Lumia 730 will be priced at around 260 dollars and when you purchase the device, Microsoft will offer you a free Skype unlimited subscription for the next three months.
