Both Samsungâs Galaxy Note 4 and Googleâs Nexus 6 are âthe talk of the townâ this holiday season. The Galaxy Note 4 has been officially announced to be released this September, and fans couldnât be more excited: the phablet promises a lot. On the other hand, fans are (not so) patiently waiting for the new Nexus device from Google which is also rumored to rock the tech world. Letâs see a comparison between the two phablets to help you figure out which one should you buy when they hit the market.
Display
Google refuses to give any specific details about the Nexus 6âs display, but most people believe that the device will sport a display measuring at least 5 inches. Also, the screen resolution and pixel density is expected to be higher than the ones on its predecessors, although Google did not disappoint with those either.
No official statement from Samsung either, but there have been rumors about a larger display than the one the Nexus 6 will feature. Most likely, the company will equip the phablet with a three-fold display.
Processor
We are expecting the Nexus 6 to be tooled with a 64 bit chipset which will either originate from Qualcomm or Intel.
The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to come with an eight core processor either from Qualcomm or Exynos.
Operating System
We already know that the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system has been released at the I/O conference from Google. Now, naturally, the Nexus 6, being a Google device, will definitely get this OS. Come to think of it, Samsungâs device will probably have the OS as well.
Camera
The Nexus 6 will sport a 13MP rear camera, which would be a match for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But when it comes to the Galaxy Note 4, we are positive that the South Korean tech giant will upgrade the main camera to either 16MP or 20MP.
Battery
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to showcase a 3000 mAh battery unit.
While there is no official confirmation, the market is expecting the Nexus 6 to house a battery unit with either a capacity of 3000 mAh or of 3200 mAh.
