OnePlus Two Rumors – What The Grapevine Is Saying

There have been rumors flying about the makers of the hard-to-find but crowd-pleasing OnePlus One. The rumors stated that there is a OnePlus Two in the making. Even so, it is still hard to get your hands on the OnePlus One. You have to sign up on their website to order because it is not available in the market.

The OnePlus One has specs similar to those found in the Xperia Z2 or S5. As such, the OnePlus One manufacturers seem to be working towards success. The upcoming rumored handset called the OnePlus Two might have the code name “Lettuce”. There is, however, no word on when the OnePlus Two is supposed to be launched or the features it might have.

What Cyanogen Has To Say about These Rumors

The company behind the OnePlus One software side of it released a statement refuting these rumors. However, assuming that the handset does exist or will exist, there is likelihood that it will have high-end features, especially if the OnePlus One features are anything to go by. Here is a look at some of the features the OnePlus One has and it may give you an insight of what to expect in the OnePlus Two.

The OnePlus One

This smartphone comes with a jet black display, a minimalistic design and a plastic back. It has a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. It also has a volume rocker on the left and the power button on the right. These buttons have been designed to land exactly where your fingers would. The phone provides a remarkable experience for users.

The sleek and elegant lines make the device very comfortable to hold despite its size and relative heft. It also has a curved back with a tapered edge. It is much nimbler in the hand with a light feeling throughout, making it fairly easy for you to reach icons using one hand. The back covers are replaceable.

The display is a 5.5 inch JDI IPS display with a 1080p resolution resulting in a pixel density of 410 pixels per inch. You get the expected sharpness and vibrant colors that pop out on the beautiful large display.

The viewing angles are also fantastic, allowing for 178 degrees of vision. The screen is a LTPS low temperature polysilicon LCD display that brings along TOL technology that eliminates the display between the touch sensor and the actual display panel. It is also more significantly shadow proof than other screens due to the strong Gorilla Glass 3.

It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor backed by the Adreno330 and 3GB of RAM. This makes multi-tasking and general performance an absolute breeze. CyanogenMod also caters towards a smooth experience.

As for the Micro SD expansion slot, there is none available. However, you do get built-in storage including 16 and 64 GB options. Keep in mind that your choice of storage also determines your choice of color. The 16GB device comes in a silky white color while the 64GB device comes in sandstone black.

The Costs

The OnePlus One starts at a wonderful price of $299. As such, if there will be a OnePlus Two, it might go for a slightly higher price.
