These two cheap phones are an alternative for those who are looking for a device that supports 4G and has other superior specs. So, the Lumia 635 has just been released and it’s available worldwide. The Moto G hit the markets in 2013 and since May, this year, we have a 4G version. Both of them are Micro-Sim phones, but some variants of the Moto G support Dual-Sim cards.
Displays, designs and sizes
Both of these phones have IPS LCD displays with the same 4.5inches size, but they support different screen resolutions: The Moto G’s screen renders a resolution of 720×1,280pixels and supports 326ppi, while Lumia 635’s screen supports only 480x854pixels and 218ppi.
The Moto G’s display is HD and the body is made of plastic. The front panel is black or white and the back cover is customizable with many colors. The Nokia Lumia 635 has a back panel made of plastic, but the colors are more bright and vivid.
The Moto G (4G) is water resistant, being protected by a simple coating. The phone is 0.46inches thick and it weights 143grams. The thickness of the Lumia 635 is 0.36inches and it weights 134grams. Both of the devices are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Hardware and OS
These phones are powered by the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Cortex-A7 processor (clocked at 1.2GHz). But the Moto G has 1GB of RAM, while the Lumia 635 has only 512MB of RAM. The Moto G 4G is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS – upgradable to the 4.4.3 KitKat version, and has 8 and 16GB options of internal storage – expandable up to 32GB.
The Nokia Lumia 635 is running on the Windows Phone 8.1 OS and hosts 8GB of internal storage – expandable up to 128GB.
Cameras and Batteries
Both of them have 5MP rear cameras, but only the Moto G 4G has LED flash and a 1.3Mp front camera.
The Moto G has a non-removable Li-Ion 2070mAh battery, while the Lumia 635’s battery is replaceable, but it has a lower capacity – 1830mAh.
Connectivity
Both of these phones support Bluetooth v4.0, 2G/3G/4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi.

Motorola Moto G (4G) can be found on amazon.com at the price of 220 dollars. The Nokia Lumia 635 costs only 99 dollars off contract for AT&T version.
