LG G3 Cat. 6
This Android Kit Kat version phone has been announced on July 22, but we don’t know when it will be released officially. We haven’t found any defects at this device, but we’ll let you convince for yourselves that this device is worth buying – when it will hit the markets. The only problem is that this model will be available only in the South Korea, as the officials of LG confirmed.
Display and Sizes
The model comes with a 5.5inches multitouchIPS LCD display with 16M colors and an incredible resolution of 1440x2560pixels and 534ppi. On the outside, the G3 Cat. 6 is pretty much similar to the G3, having an Oleophobic coating protecting the screen and also has light and proximity sensors. The dimensions of the device are 146.3×74.6×9.1mm and it weights 154grams, being slightly above average.
Hardware and OS
This model is powered by a 2.7GHz quad core Krait 450, which is couplet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 chipset and an Adreno 420 GPU. The LTE speed is very high – up to 225 Mbps. The built in storage is of 32GB and it’s expandable up to 128GB. The phone is running on the Android 4.4.2 OS with 3GB of RAM, so it should be supporting all kinds of apps and games.
Camera
The camera on the back is 13MP, and has features such as Flash, autofocus, optical image stabilization, digital zoom, burst mode, HDR etc. The camera on the front is 2.1MP.
Battery
The phone has a powerful battery of 3000mAh.

LG G3 S comes at a price of about $660.
LG G3 S
This model has been announced last month and it will be in stores starting from August. The phone is also known as the G3 Beat and it costs around 370 dollars.
Display and Sizes
This model is a smaller variant of the G3, having an IPS LCD display of 5inches, with 16M colors, a resolution of 720x1280pixels and 294ppi. So, it’s smaller than the Cat. 6 as well, and the specs are slightly inferior. The dimensions of this model are: 137.7×69.6×10.3mm and it weights 134grams.
Hardware and OS
The G3 S is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7, which is backed up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and an Adreno 305 GPU. It has an internal memory of 8GB – expandable up to 64GB and it runs on the same operating system as the Cat 6. – Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but it has only 1GB of RAM.
Camera
The phone has a rear camera of 8MP, with 3264x2448pixels, laser autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, face and smile detection, HDR, geo tagging and video recording capabilities of 1080p@30fps. The camera on the front is 2.1MP.
Battery
The battery on this device is also weaker, having a capacity of 2540 mAh.
Price
LG G3 Cat. 6′s price hasn’t be reviled yet but would be in the range of $600.
