LG hit the jackpot with its last release, the G3, a phone with a 5.5 inches display and an incredible rear camera with a much more advanced autofocus system. The most praised smartphone of 2014 was released on May 28, in Seoul, but let’s see if the iPhone 6 will have more success when it will come in September.
The thickness of the LG G3 is of 8.9mm, extremely thin if we think how powerful and advanced the components that were included on this device are. The other dimensions of the phone are 75×146 mm, meaning that this is a very tall and wide phone, a lot bigger than its siblings. And although it has a plastic carcass, it looks like it’s made of metal which is scratch proof.
LG G3 versus iPhone 6
Forbes said that the LG G3 features the Quad-HD resolution, making it the first phone from the US to come with this feature. The pixel density is extremely high, of 534ppi, while the iPhone is supposed to support only a pixel density of 326ppi and a resolution of 1704x960pixels. But the flagship will be released in two size options: 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches and its displays will be made of sapphire glass, to be more durable.
The heart of the G3 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, clocked at 2.5GHz, the most powerful processor ever made. Apple most likely will run on a dual-core processor, perhaps two processor cores and will be have an advanced 64-bit coprocessor.
While the users of the LG G3 can’t have enough of their new acquisition, the Apple fans can’t wait to buy the iPhone 6.
