For those who do not call themselves tech or computer geeks, this is a pretty simple program that does the job of protecting your computer against virus well. One of its best features is its ability to conduct a full computer scan, which will go through all of the files that exist on your computer. This will keep any virus from having any effect on your computer when detected. Detected viruses are locked in a quarantine where they can no longer affect the way the computer runs and is disabled to affect any other file or data. Avira is a free program that also has a premium counterpart.
The paid version has more features, of course, such as real time Internet protection.
Steer Clear of Suspicious Websites
If a website already looks suspicious, stay away from it. No need to risk damaging your computer just to satisfy your curiosity.
