The Sims 4 – Creation At Its Best

Who doesn’t love The Sims? One of the most anticipated life simulation games, The Sims 4, is only a few months away and EA and Maxis are constantly releasing new teasers about the game to hype up their audience.

First revealed officially on August 20, 2013 at a gameplay demo and release trailer at the annual Gamescom event, the popularity of The Sims 4 has only been increasing. However, no firm release date has been announced and there is still much of the game that is to be revealed. With E3 2014 just a week away, fans wonder if EA will show something new regarding one of their biggest franchises.

Easier Than Ever To Create

One of the best qualities of The Sims 4 is the updated user interface. Everything in the game has been simplified to a huge extent, without harming the overall gameplay, but rather improving it. If a person wanted to create a detailed digital avatar in previous games, they would have to go through various sliders and options. However, in the latest game of the franchise, complex level of detail will be customizable with only a few clicks and simple movements of the mouse. Houses will also be far easier to build and their interior will be a bigger factor in the game than ever before as the digital avatars will be able to feel different emotions, depending on their surroundings.

What To Expect?

As the game holds a new level of complexity of the AI, fans are waiting in anticipation to see how their avatars will react to new situations. Even though at this point it is not official, it is highly probable that The Sims 4 will be included in the EA press conference at this year’s E3. Even though a new gameplay demo won’t be that surprising, as there are already a few teasers that reveal quite a lot about the upcoming game, there might be certain announcements that will truly hype up the audience. One of the key features of the new title will be the emotions system incorporated into the new virtual avatars for which Maxis still hasn’t revealed a lot. Moreover, even though it is certain that the game will hit the market by the end of 2014; an exact release date is still to be announced.

A Great Step Towards Life Simulation

The Sims 4 will feature amazing new features and will definitely be a step towards fun and addictive gaming life simulation. Even though previous games have been released on various platforms, currently EA hasn’t revealed any plans for a next-gen console release. The Sims 4 is anticipated to be available for the PC, as well as the Mac OSX, no later than the third or fourth quarter of 2014. Further information will be unveiled at the annual E3 2014 event and EA press conference, which is set for the 9th of June and will be available through a direct online stream via the official EA website.
