OnePlus One vs Oppo Find 7 vs Find 7A – Best Specs and Prices Comparison

You wouldn’t believe how many similarities you’ll find between the OnePlus model and Oppo’s smartphones, but the price is what differentiates them. Of course, some other aspects as well, but we don’t want to say too much in the introduction and we’ll let you find out more about the three devices from the following article.

Displays and sizes

If you’re a fan of large screens, then you should pick a 5.5inches one. But, surprise! All of these smartphones have the same screen size, with the mention that the OnePlus One has a LTPS LCD screen, which supports a resolution of 1080x1920pixels and 401ppi, while the Oppo Find 7A has an IPS LCD screen with the same resolution and pixel density. The Oppo Find 7 is simply perfect. Not only has it supported a higher screen resolution – 1440x2560pixels, but the pixel density stands at 534ppi, just like LG’s G3. But because it’s a 2K display, it consumes the battery faster. We must mention the fact that all three devices have displays protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Oppo Find 7 and Find 7A are identical in body sizes (152.6x75x9.2mm) and the difference lies in weight, as the Find 7 is 1gram heavier than its brother, which is weighting 170grams. The OnePlus One is weighting 162grams and the dimensions are 152.9×75.9×8.9mm.

Hardware and OS

The similarities between the three models don’t stop here. The OnePlus One and the Oppo Find 7 are both powered by a quad core 2.5GHz Krait 400 processor, backed by a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset and they use Adreno 330 GPU. The Oppo Find 7A has a relatively weaker processor, which is clocked at 2,3GHz, and it’s based on the MSM8974AB model from the Snapdragon 801 series.

The OnePlus One and the Oppo Find 7 have 3GB of RAM, but the internal storage capacity on the second phone is 32GB, with the possibility to expand it up to 128GB, while the first phone has two variants of internal memories of 16 and 64GB, but they’re unexpandable. The Find 7A has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, but don’t worry, you can expand it up to 128GB.

The OnePlus One runs on the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS, but it’s upgradable to v4.4.4 (KitKat) and has CyanogenMod on top of it, while the phones from Oppo are using Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and ColorOS, but someday, the Find 7 will run on CyanogenMod because its creator and Cyanogen Inc are partners are partners.

Cameras

All the smartphones have rear cameras with the same resolution, 13MP and share almost the same features. However, OnePlus is using Sony’s Exmor RS technology and has better lens, even if Oppo’s phones have some features that can give the quality of a 50MP camera. Let’s not forget that all three smartphones shoot 4K videos and have 5MP front cameras.

Connectivity

All three devices support 4G LTE networks, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, MicroUSB and have 3.5mm audio jacks.

Batteries

The OnePlus one comes with a on-removable Li-Po 3100mAh battery, the Oppo Find 7’s battery has a Li-Po 3000mAh battery and its sibling has a slightly weaker battery, with the capacity of 800mAh.

Prices

The OnePlus One is only 299 dollars, and you can buy it from the manufacturer’s website. The Oppo Find 7 costs 625 dollars, while the Find 7A is 100 dollars cheaper.
