Despite the use of plastic in the iPhone 5C smartphone, the weight has not altered. The iPhone 5C is still heavier than the iPhone 5S smartphone – 132 grams over 122 grams.
Grip: The weight is easily noticeable when you hold the two smartphones side by side. However, the iPhone 5C provides a more comfortable grip than the iPhone 5S smartphone. The 5C provides with a nice grip due to its plastic wrapping, in comparison to the metal casing of the 5S smartphone.
Apple’s slender plastic design of the iPhone 5C provides a much cheaper feel to it. In comparison, the sharper packing lines of the iPhone 5S, offers the user a more premium feeling.
Color: The alphabet ‘C’ in the iPhone 5C means ‘color’. The 5C is readily available in five different colors – white, green, yellow, pink and blue. In case you were looking for a colorful smartphone, the iPhone 5C would suit your requirement. In comparison, the metal casing of the iPhone 5S is available in black or space grey, white and silver or white and gold color options. The metal casing offers the iPhone 5S a more premium feeling.
