The title is passed onto the latest Nexus smartphone by default. However, the Nexus 4 is an exceptional smartphone. Dimensions

Both these smartphones come with a polished design. The Galaxy S3 comes with a larger surface area in comparison to the Nexus 4 smartphone. The S3 is thinner than the Nexus 4. The latter comes with a glass front and rear, cased with a plastic band. The Nexus 4 comprises of a bedazzled rear that emits soft shimmer under the right light.

Weight

Display of both these smartphones should look great. However, the Nexus 4 comes with a smaller screen but higher resolution and better pixel density than the Galaxy S3. Samsung Galaxy S3 US version comes fitted with 2GB of RAM, similar to that of the Nexus 4 smartphone. However, the Galaxy S3 sold to the rest of the world comes equipped with 1GB of RAM.

Storage

LG and Google restricted the base variant of the Nexus 4 to 8 GB internal storage capacities. This could prove to be a drawback for the Nexus 4 users. However, the Galaxy S3 sports an internal storage capacity of 16 GB that is expandable up to 64 GB through a microSD memory card.

Battery

Galaxy S3 and Nexus 4 come equipped with similar wattage battery units. However, the battery life is dependent on the various other factors when used in real time.

Camera

The camera specs look similar on paper. However, the front camera of the Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with superior megapixel ratings.

Both these smartphones have a lot in common when it comes to specifications. The best advice would be to find the smartphone that suits your requirements.
