The successor of the famous Galaxy Grand is taller and what you’ll like about it is the plastic back cover that looks like faux leather with stitches on the edges. The Xperia C is cheaper and slightly inferior, but offers the same camera performance. So, if you want a phone with an advanced camera, available at an affordable price, then you should consider the second option.
Displays and sizes
Both of these smartphones are equipped with TFT displays, but of different sizes. The Galaxy Grand 2’s screen has the size of 5.25inches and supports a higher resolution – 720x1280pixels, while the Xperia C’s screen is smaller – 5inches and it renders also a lower resolution – 540x960pixels.

AS for the OS, they both on the same Android Jelly Bean version, only that the Galaxy Grand 2 hosts 1.5GB of RAM, while the Xperia C comes with only 1GB of RAM.
Cameras
If there is no significant difference between their primary cameras’ resolutions, since both of them are of 8MP and share similar features such as LED flash and autofocus, what sets the Galaxy Grand 2 apart from the Xperia C is the fact that it has a better secondary camera – 1.9MP, while the front camera on the other device is a VGA.
Batteries
The Galaxy Grand 2 demonstrates its superiority again, with its 2600mAh battery that allows you to talk 17 hours, on 3G, with your friends. The Xperia C has a weaker battery with the capacity of 2390mAh, which allows you to talk only 12 hours, on 3G, on the phone.
