GTA 6 is the upcoming sequel of the GTA series and many fans are hoping to get some information about this game sometime soon.
There were a lot of rumors all over the internet about GTA 6’s location, some saying that the game will return to the Vice City, while others are saying that the next sequel of GTA will be settled somewhere in the south part of Texas and will feature missions that are based in Mexico. At the same time, there are rumors saying that the game will come back to Vice City on the upcoming sequel.
However, it seems that Rockstar is finally bringing GTA 5 to the next-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 18, followed by a release of the PC edition on January 27, 2015.
A few days ago, many players received a GTA 5 PS4 beta invite, but it turned out to be a scam and Rockstar advised the players who clicked on the links that were inside the scam email to scan their computers as they might be infected with a virus/Trojan.
Nowadays, we’re used to play beta on the upcoming games and while this didn’t happen with GTA 5, it will most likely happen on GTA 6. Many GTA fans believe that Rockstar will run a beta phase for the upcoming GTA 6 in order to come with the best GTA product at the release date, rather then having a game full of bugs. Running a Beta phase in a game helps a lot the developers, as the players will discover bugs, errors and they will report them to Rockstar, but at the same time, players’ feedback can help them a lot on understanding where they are doing wrong.
However, since GTA 6 will probably have a big single player component, it will be hard for the developers to release a beta before it comes out. However, if they continue adding more multiplayer content to the game than they currently have on the GTA Online, there is a chance that we will get a GTA 6 multiplayer beta.
Will GTA 6 come back to Vice City?
In concordance with a report from BreathCast, Rockstar is currently working on GTA Online but the same website also hinted that GTA 6 might come back to Vice City. It seems that these new rumors came out after Leslie Benzies, the Rockstar Games; president claimed that Vice City is a location that Rockstar would like to revisit on the next-gen consoles.
It is rumored that GTA 6 will be released sometime in 2017, but Rockstar didn’t give any official date on when this will happen. After GTA 5 gets released on the next-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation, on November 18, we will most likely hear some news about GTA 6 from Rockstar.
