However, the Micromax Canvas 3D A115 handset derives power from its MTK6577 dual core chipset, running at a speed of 1.2GHz. The combination of CPU and GPU is coupled with a RAM of 512MB, similar to that of its counterpart, the Lumia 625.

Interface and Functionality

In terms of interface and functionality, the Nokia Lumia 625 handset encompasses a Windows Phone 8 GDR2 operating system, equipped with Amber update. The Lumia 625 handset comes equipped with dual home screen panels. The first home screen panel comprises of Live Tile display; whereas, the secondary home screen panel comprises of an upright list of various apps equipped within the Lumia 625 handset. Nokia Lumia 625 handset encompasses an array of exclusive applications, to provide the users with a quality experience.

In comparison, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, Micromax offers Android experience in its handsets. The Micromax Canvas 3D A115 handset comes equipped with Android 4.1.2 OS. The operating system aims to provide the user with a smooth functionality. Among the many features equipped in the Canvas 3D handset, the 3D Space Launcher is the most notable. The feature aims to provide the user with immediate access to video player, YouTube and 3D Gallery.

In addition, the Micromax handset offers 3D customization to its users. The 3D customization feature can be easily extended to the lock screen feature of the handset.

Verdict

The Nokia Lumia 625 is a budget friendly handset, which means that the Finnish Company has made several sacrifices with respect to features and specs, to bring the smartphone in the mid range segment. On the other hand, Micromax aims to offer updated handsets at affordable prices.
