Nokia Lumia 1520 vs LG Optimus G Pro – Top Processor, Storage and Battery Comparison

Nokia Lumia 1520 has been the biggest smartphone released by the company, which comes equipped with heavy specs.

The Windows Phone 8 operating system on the Nokia Lumia 1520, gives other companies a run for their money. The phablet comprises of all the necessary ingredients to claim the top spot in the mobile industry.

In comparison, the Optimus G Pro from LG comprises of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution. It comes in two different models – 5-inch screen for Japan and 5.5-inch display for Korea. The 5-inch variant, discussed here, comes equipped with a user-replaceable battery and a memory expansion slot.

However, let us compare the two handsets in terms of their hardware specifications and pricing.

Processor

Under the hood, the Nokia Lumia 1520 packs a punch. The phablet packs enough fire power under to hood to appease power hungry users. The phablet comprises of a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC (system-in-chip) with a quad core processor, running at a speed of 2.2GHz, along with Adreno 330 graphic processor. The CPU and GPU combination is accompanied with a RAM of 2GB, ensuring smooth functioning of the handset. The Lumia 1520 offers the user a snappy and responsive performance.

In comparison, the LG Optimus G Pro handset encompasses a Qualcomm snapdragon 600 chipset. The powerful Snapdragon 600 chipset is accompanied by a quad core processor running at a decent speed of 1.7GHz. The user can rest assured that the processor functions efficiently, without any delays and lags. Regardless, the amount of apps piled on the handset, the processor works beautifully. The CPU and GPU combination of the G Pro handset is accompanied with a DDR3 RAM of 2GB. It would not be wrong to suggest that the LG G Pro handset could set a record, despite it being equipped with a big Full HD screen.

Storage

In terms of storage, the Nokia Lumia 1520 comprises of a 16GB internal storage capacity, per se the AT&T variant. However, the international model comprises of 32GB internal storage capacity. Moreover, the handset comes equipped with an external memory card slot for memory enhancement.

In comparison, the LG handset comes equipped with 32GB of internal storage capacity variant, out of which only 23GB is available to the end user. The G Pro also comes equipped with external microSD card slot for memory enhancement.

Battery

The Nokia Lumia 1520 comes equipped with a beefy 3400 mAh battery, providing the user with impressive battery life. In comparison, the Optimus G Pro comes equipped with a tad smaller 3140 mAh battery, providing more time between charges.
