iPhone 6 Plus Is Praised For Its Display, But So Is The Galaxy Note 4 – Which Carries The Best Screen?

The iPhone 6 Plus has been seeing a lot of success since its launch, exactly as the vast number of analysts have predicted for the Apple device. However, the newest Samsung flagship device, the Galaxy Note 4 phablet, will also be dropping pretty soon, and many believe that Apple and its handset need to watch out, as the Note 4 is expected to face the iPhone 6 Plus head-on without a problem. Aside from the high-end specs and huge list of features, the Note 4 will also take Apple’s sales by storm with the great pricing plans it will offer. It is reported that the device will come with $60 and $80 unlimited data plans from Sprint and T-Mobile respectively. Verizon and AT&T will also be joining in, although they do not offer unlimited data plans. Some of the best pricing options have been made available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4’s release, says Sprint’s senior vice president David Owns. Sprint also has a Family Share Pack put together which, by using, will result in up to $60 per month savings.

Now that we’ve established how big of a threat the Galaxy Note 4 is to the iPhone 6 Plus, we can move on to the issue on everyone’s mind, and that is which has the better display. The iPhone 6 Plus currently holds the title of device with the best display, in some people’s book, but the Note 4 is bound to put it up to the test.

DisplayMate have conducted a series o tests on the iPhone 6 Plus, and according to their own Raymond Soneira, the current Apple flagship is the best device they’ve ever come across, in terms of display. In their view, there has been a new standard set by the 6 Plus regarding LCD displays.

However, the same source went on to say that they have awarded the Galaxy Note 4 as well. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been granted the Best Smartphone Display Overall Award.

That being said, it will be interesting to see which of these two giants actually manages to come out on top, both featuring stunning displays that put them way ahead of competition.

As for actual numbers, we know that the iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch display, featuring a 401 ppi pixel density spread across a 1920 x 1080 resolution display. Its competitor, the Note 4, will come with a larger display with 5.7 inches, and a 2560 x 1440 resolution AMOLED display which definitely classifies as quad HD.
