iPhone 6 Best Of The Best – Has Over 4 Million Pre-orders

There are over 4 million pre-orders made for Apple’s iPhone 6, which has been a real hit. The company will be now forced to announce additional orders to be shipped somewhere around November. Because of this big success that Apple is currently having with its new iPhone 6, competitors such as Samsung are starting to consider iPhone 6 to be more threatening than they expected.

While the iPhone 6 had 4 million pre-orders in the first day, the iPhone 5 had only 2 million pre-orders, so this is actually looking very promising for the company. Because of the high demand, Apple has exhausted its initial supply and some of the pre-orders might be delayed until November.

In concordance with Reuters, in the first weekend, iPhone 6’s sales will go up to 10 million units. Like we told you above, the iPhone 5 had only 2 million pre-orders in the first 24 hours and the first weekend of sales had 5 million units sold. The iPhone 5S + iPhone 5C series sold, in total, around 9 million, in the first three days after their release.

Apple posted an initial order of 2 million units for the iPhone 5 within 24 hours. In the first weekend, 5 million units were sold. The iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c series sold 9 million units combined within three days upon store release. Apple didn’t specify the pre-order number of the phones separately.

According to Mark Spoonauer, the chief of LaptopMag, this high demand for the iPhone 6 can create envy among competitors such as Samsung or LG. Even if the iPhone 6 didn’t come with a sapphire screen as it was rumored, the high demand of this device confirms that not many users were very excited about this feature.

In addition, the iPhone 6 Plus comes with a larger screen and an improved processor and camera, which will put a lot of “pressure” on Samsung and the company will have to come with at least the same features that the iPhone 6 Plus will have.

Even if Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and Note 4 are better than the iPhone 6 Plus in some aspects, it seems that there are millions of people who prefer Apple’s device instead of the Samsung ones.
