XiaoMi Mi3 vs Huawei Ascend P6 vs Huawei Ascend Mate – Best Specs And Hardware Comparison

Even though the Huawei Ascend Mate has the largest display out of the three (6.1 inches), the Xiaomi Mi3 actually comes with better screen resolution: the 5 inches display renders a full HD 1080 pixels resolution. The 4.7 inches display of the Huawei Ascend P6 and the display of the Ascend Mate both render a HD resolution of 720 pixels. The pixel density of the Xiaomi Mi3 is also better at 441 pixels per inch, while the Ascend P6 comes with a pixel ratio of 312 pixels per inch and the Ascend Mate has only 241 pixels per inch.

The Xiaomi Mi3 can be bought with two options of processor: either the quad core working at 2.3 GHz which is paired up with the Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB chipset from Qualcomm, or the one working at 1.8 GHz paired up with the Tegra 4 chipset (this variant is the TD-SDCMA version). The Ascend P6 from Huawei is powered by a quad core working at 1.5 GHz which is paired up with the Hisilicon K3V2E chipset. Huawei’s other handset, the Ascend Mate is powered also by a quad core working at 1.5 GHz, this one paired up with the Hisilicon K3V2 chip.

All three devices are equipped with 2 GB of RAM. Huawei gives both its smartphones the same internal memory space, and that is 8 GB with also the addition of the microSD card slot for memory expansion. The Xiaomi Mi3 can be purchased with two options of internal memory: 16 GB and 64 GB – but this memory cannot be expanded via microSD card.

The Xiaomi Mi3 showcases a 13 MP primary camera with dual LED flash and the ability of shooting 1080 pixels videos. The secondary camera on this handset has 2 MP. The other two devices both come with an 8 MP main camera which features LED flash. As for secondary camera, the best out of the three is the Ascend P6 with a 5 MP front-facing camera which is perfect for conference calls. The Ascend Mate comes with an 1 MP model of camera.

Xiaomi bundles the Mi3 smartphone with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version of operating system from Google, but also combines this OS with its own user interface: the MIUI V5. People are expecting an update to MIUI V6. As for the Huawei handsets, the Ascend P6 also has Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, while the Ascend Mate has a little older version: the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. We are expecting updates with these two as well.

The most powerful battery is housed by the Ascend Mate from Huawei which has a capacity of 4050 mAh. Next in line is Xiaomi’s Mi3 with a 3050 mAh, while the capacity of the Ascend P6 battery is of only 2000 mAh.
