Samsung is going to release a new variant of the Galaxy S5, called Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+.
If at the first looks, you might think that Galaxy S5 4G+ will have mostly identical specification as the Galaxy S5. Wrong! The difference will be noticed under the hood. The Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ will come with a more superior Snapdragon 805 processor than the Snapdragon 801 processor. This upcoming device will be released in Singapore, on August 23. Singapore’s SingTel will be the first company that will offer this device. In concordance with Phone Arena, Galaxy S5 4G+ will be able to provide up to 300 Mbps LTE-A download speed.
Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ model will come with a 5.1inch display that will support a resolution of 1080x1920pixels and 432ppi. However, the processor that Galaxy S5 4G+ will be equipped with, Snapdragon 805, is currently available on the LG G3 Prime. Also the upcoming phones Nexus 6 and Galaxy Note 4 are expected to come with the great 805 processor from Qualcomm.
In concordance with AnTuTu’s ranking based on the performance, it is good to know that the Snapdragon 805 chipset is the second best processor currently available, after NVIDIA’s Tegra K1.The Galaxy S5 4G+ will be priced around 688 SGD in Singapore which is around 550 dollars. It is not known yet when this device will be available in the rest of the countries.
