The 4.3 inches screen of the Lumia 900 may not be as impressive as other smartphones present in the arena, but then again, the device is not big in size. It is a mixture that comes with a great display and poor snapper. The smartphone does not come equipped with a microSD card slot for memory enhancement. The Lumia 900 device is also missing true HD video capture feature. However, the device offers the user with admirable social media and email integration. The device has a 25GB online memory. Performance wise, the device comprises of single core 1.4GHz chipset that effectively manages apps and games. However, there is some delay while browsing the web. The Windows Phone operating system is user-friendly and offers great performance. People who are new to Windows Phone would not find any problem in operating it.

The Lumia 900 device comes with advantages such as unique design, neat interface, bright display and great battery life. However, the drawbacks are dull snapper, lacks microSD card slot, no upgrades to WP 8 and absence of 1080p video recording.

Nokia Lumia 1020

Nokia had experienced failure when the company tried to put a 41MP camera into the Nokia 808 PureView smartphone. However, this time Nokia did everything right and released the Lumia 1020 PureView device that comes equipped with Windows Phone 8 OS and a splendid sleek chassis. However, the competition in the market thickens with so many smartphones released every now and then. How does the smartphone fare against its rivals and other smartphones released by its own company, would offer an interesting comparison review.

Looking at the Lumia 1020 device, it appears an average looking smartphone. The chassis with round edges provides a soft touch experience. The device is available in three-color variants – black, white and bright yellow. It weighs 168 grams and comes in a robust design. The camera lens protrudes out of the body though, not detracting from the original design of the handset.

The 41MP camera is the prominent feature of the Lumia 1020 smartphone. The camera comes with an array of features and manual controls. However, the auto mode feature is a disappointment. The smartphone is slightly bulkier than the Lumia 900 smartphone. The protruding 41MP camera lens fitted at the back of the device provides bulk to the body. The bright yellow color option is a head turner. The device comes with a long lasting battery life when fully charged offering five hours of video streaming time. The device is powered by a dual core Snapdragon chipset. The device functions perfectly with the only drawback being in terms of processing high-resolution pictures while clicking snaps. The Windows Phone 8 OS provides a user-friendly experience. The device offers 4.5 inches screen for browsing the web and playing apps.

The Lumia 1020 has great features, awesome camera, bright design and colorful display. The drawbacks include disappointing auto mode, lack of decent applications and delays between taking pictures.
