Nexus 10 P8110 vs Slate 10 HD – Top Specifications and Best Prices Comparison

In this article we’re comparing two big sized tablets: Samsung&Google’s Nexus 10 with HP’s Slate 10 HD, which were released last fall. The first device managed to steal some of iPad 4’s fans, although its biggest advantage isn’t the design. In this battle, we pick it as a winner, but the HP device isn’t bad either.

Displays and sizes

The Slate 10 has a dual core 1.2GHz processor running on a Marvell PXA986 chipset with 1GB of RAM. The operating system is Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and the internal memory is 16GB, expandable up to 32GB.

Cameras

Both tablets have modest rear cameras with the resolution of 5MP and they have in common autofocus. But the Nexus 10 has in addition LED flash, touch focus, geo tagging and face detection. Its secondary battery is 1.9MP, while the Slate 10 has a 2MP front camera which records at 720p.

Batteries

Although both batteries are non removable and Li-Po, the Nexus 10’s battery has a higher capacity, of 9000mAh, while the Slate 10 has a 7000mAh power.
