LG G3

The LG G3 hit the markets in May 2014 and it had quite a positive response. The handset is indeed in the higher end ‘pool’, so it is pricier than the LG G Vista. But that also means it comes with a lot of interesting features you might not find in the other device. Let’s take a closer look at LG G3’s specs and figure out if it is worth its price.

Design & Display

The LG G3 weighs 149 grams and comes with the following dimensions: 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm. The display seen on this handset is a True HD IPS+ LCD model measuring 5.5 inches that comes with 16 M colors to ensure a rich, colorful image. The pixel ratio sits at 534 pixels per inch which is very high, even for a high end phone. LG equipped this device with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection.

Specifications, Camera & Battery

The device can be bought with two RAM + ROM combinations: you can go either with 2 GB of RAM + 16 GB of ROM or you can go with 3 GB of RAM + 32 GB of ROM. Regarding connectivity, the LG G3 has support for GSP and CDMA meaning you can have connections like GPRS and EDGE. The Dolby mobile sound enhancement is one selling point, giving the ultimate sound experience. The primary camera has 13 MP.

Price

If you want to buy LG’s G3, you can find the 2 GB of RAM + 16 GB of ROM version at the price of $549.89.

LG G Vista

This handset brings some satisfying features, seeing how it is a budget friendly phone. Let’s take a closer look at what exactly the LG G Vista brings to the table and figure out if it would be a better choice than the LG G3.

Design & Display

The display seen on the LG G Vista is actually larger, at 5.7 inches and it also comes with 16 M colors. All of that is nice, but the pixel density is only half of what we saw with the LG G3: we get 258 pixels per inch.

Specifications, Camera & Battery

The primary camera unit is inferior at 8 MP (features: autofocus and LED flash), but it is quite nice for a mid range phone. The battery unit has a capacity of 3200 mAh which is larger than the capacity of LG G3’s battery. The connectivity features are the same for both phones.

Price

The LG G Vista can be bought at only $399.99.
