LG G3 vs Amazon Fire Phone – Best Specs and Comparison

We feel that these two don’t have any similarities when you’re looking at their design, but might have more in common that you would normally think. Today we thought we would compare LG’s G3 and Amazon’s Fire Phone to see exactly which one would be a better choice for our readers that are looking for a new handset.

LG G3

LG’s current flagship, the G3, comes with some very nice features to satisfy the market’s standards and expectations. We know that this handset runs on Android KitKat, but let’s take a closer look at the other specs this phone brings to the table.

Design & Display

If you are a fan of larger smartphones, LG G3 will be just up your alley: the handset features a 5.5 inches display that is covered with oleophobic coating as a plus of protection against scratches. The imaging is very nice on this phone, seeing how the pixel density sits at 538 pixels per inch.

Specifications, Camera & Battery

The processor that powers the LG G3 is a quad core working at 2500 MHz, that is provided with 3 GB of RAM for a smoother performance and overall pleasant user experience. The battery unit housed by this device has a capacity of 3000 mAh.

Regarding the rear-facing camera, we can see a 13 MP one with features like autofocus, dual LED flash, touch to focus and a back illuminated sensor. As for the front-facing camera, LG’s handset comes with a 2.1 MP model.

Price

If you’re fond of the LG G3 and you have decided to purchase it, you can buy this handset at the price of $614.95.

Amazon Fire Phone

Amazon did not design the Fire Phone to be a high end product, but rather an accessible handset with the right pack of features for the common user to have access to. We know that this device runs on Android Jelly Bean, but let’s see what else the Fire Phone has to offer.

Design & Display

If a bigger screen is not your thing, the Fire Phone will be the better choice for you out of the two: this handset has a display of only 4.7 inches. The pixel density is inferior to the one of its counterpart, at 315 pixels per inch. Where Amazon compensates is the screen resolution, seeing how the display provides a 720p HD pixel resolution.

Specifications, Camera & Battery

The processor that powers the Amazon Fire Phone is a quad core working at 2200 MHz. The device supports 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM, which means that while it shows off less RAM, the Fire Phone comes with significantly more internal storage capacity (the LG G3 provides 32 GB of ROM). The battery unit housed by Amazon’s handset has a capacity of 2400 mAh.

The rear facing camera of the smartphone has 13MP and shows off the same features that the LG G3 does.

Price

If you like the Amazon Fire Phone, you can purchase this handset at the price of $749.00.
