LG G Pro 2 vs LG G Pro Lite vs LG Optimus G Pro – Best Differences Between Top Phones

Today we are comparing three of LG’s smartphones to figure out which one would be the best buy from the Korean tech giant. The LG G Pro 2 is a high end phone, but let’s see what its predecessors, the LG G Pro Lite and the LG Optimus G Pro have to offer and find out together what changes LG has made with its newest handset.

All the three devices from LG are equipped with IPS LCD models of displays which ensure a colorful imaging and sharp graphics. The LG Optimus G Pro and the LG G Pro Lite both come with the same size of display: 5.5 inches. As for the resolution rendered by these devices, we can see that the LG Optimus G Pro and the LG G Pro 2 both render full HD resolutions (1080 pixels).

The LG Optimus G Pro comes with a quad core processor paired up with the Snapdragon 600 chipset from Qualcomm. This device supports 2 GB of RAM for a smooth performance and 16 GB of internal memory storage. The processor that powers the LG G Pro Lite is a dual core which is paired up with the MediaTek MT6577 chipset. This device comes with only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage capacity. The processor that powers the LG G Pro 2 is the most powerful: a quad core paired up with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chipset. This device comes with an impressive amount of 3 GB of RAM, while the internal memory space is of 32 GB.

The LG G Pro Lite comes with less satisfactory specs when it comes to camera: an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The LG Optimus G Pro and the LG G Pro 2 both come with 13 MP primary cameras, while the secondary cameras on both handsets have 2.1 MP. The only difference between the two is that LG brings with the newest smartphone OIS Plus technology which will improve the quality of the images.

The Optimus G Pro and the G Pro Lite both run on the same version of Google’s operating sytem: the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The G Pro 2 comes bundled with a superior version: the Android 4.4 KitKat. This handset can be bought with LTE-A support, only in South Korea. The LG Optimus G Pro can be bought with 4G LTE, while the G Pro Lite shows off HSPA connection.
