Clash of Clans – Best Offence, Troops and Riding Tips and Tricks

Clash of Clans is a great mobile game that will make you play it all day long. Today we’re going to give you a few tips and tricks that will help you in your Clash of Clans journey.

1. Saving your Gems

Do not rush to spend your Gems in Clash of Clans. Most of the players make this mistake, by spending Gems on creating buildings instantly or to train their troops urgently. Do NOT rush to spend the Gems! Instead, save them to buy Builder’s Huts, because you will need them and they can be only bought with Gems.

2. Offense is your best defense

In order to get resources fast in Clash of Clans, you will constantly raid. However, you will still need to make a decent defense in your village, because it’s useless to get a lot of resources if you are going to lose them in case someone attacks your village.

3. Three days newbie Shield

When you start playing Clash of Clans, you will get a free shield that will last 3 days. Many players decide to not attack during these 3 days in order to not lose the shield, and instead, they do single player campaigns and improve the village’s offense and defense. We suggest you to attack from the first minute you start playing this game. This way, you will earn easy resources, meaning that you will improve your village faster.

4. Village layout

Your walls will play a big role in this game, so try to have enough walls around your village and another round of walls around your resources. By doing this, you will buy enough time for your defensive units to destroy your enemy. Also, try to stack your village as much as you can and don’t leave any empty space in it.

5. Finding a target

Don’t attack players randomly. Instead, you should first look at the defense of their village. Once you find a weak protected village which has enough resources that you can steal, attack it! Keep in mind that if the Tower Hall of the village you are raiding is lower than your Town Hall, you may end up getting lower resources because of the penalty.

6. Sending troops to a raid

Before you decide to attack a village, try to have a decent army. Look at what resources the village you want to attack has and if that you can kill it with your army and if you will get enough resources that will at least cover your troops cost. Keep in mind that after you deploy your troops, you do not have any control of them.

7. Raiding with friends

Once you have a decent village and your Clan Castle is rebuilt, you can join a Clan and start raiding with the new tem. You will notice that these raids are very fun and you will get some nice resources. While doing clan wars, you will have a “clone” of your village that the clan members who you fight with will be able to attack. So, your actual village and its resources will be safe.

8. Better retreat than lose all your troops

When you are raiding a village and you notice that your troops are dying without even scratching the enemy, it is better to just leave the battle than to lose all your troops for nothing.

9. “Read” Your Opponents

When you’re attacking a village, you should “read” your opponent. Is the village covered with walls, but somewhere it has an empty space? Then there should be a trap, probably a bomb. Try sending only one troop in there to trigger the trap and clear the way, and after that, you can deploy all your troops and crush your enemy.

10. Don’t rush in leveling up your Town Hall

Do not ever try to level up first your Town Hall! If you have a high Town Hall, you will most likely get some players who will have a lower Town Hall than you, meaning that you will get loot penalty and if you succeed raiding, instead of getting 100% of the resources you will get a lower amount. Try max your other buildings first and only after that go for the Town Hall.
