In order to succeed in Clash of Clans, you will have to use a lot of strategies, because they will play an important role in this game and they’ll help you succeed easily. If you’ll use a good strategy, you will have a big advantage over other players in the game. Today, we’re going to share with you some attacking and defending strategies.
1. Attacking Strategy
When you attack a village, the first thing that you should take into consideration is if the player has some troops in Clan Castle. If he does, then you should try to lure and destroy them as fast as possible, in order to not worry about them when you will actually send the troops to destroy the village.
To lure them, you will need to send a troop nearby the clan castle, to get the troops out of it. After they get out, deploy an archer on the edge of the map, but make sure he doesn’t reach any ground weapon (to not die). After that, all the troops from the Clan Castle will go for the archer and once they reach the edge of the map, release a few ground troops to destroy them. For example, you can use Mages or Archers to do that.
After you kill the troops from the Clan Castle, it’s time to come up with a strategy on how you will want to attack the village. If you have hogs that can jump walls, then send them to destroy all the defensive buildings. Around 20 of them will do the work, but remember to use a healing spell in order to survive long enough to kill all the defensive buildings.
After you’ve sent the hogs and they are already attacking the defensive buildings, you can deploy archers and mages and start destroying the rest of buildings. This way, you will destroy the base fast and easy.
2. Defensive Strategy
Having a good defensive strategy may be one of the most important things in Clash of Clans. However, this can be really hard to obtain. A defensive strategy might work when you are attacked by a player, but, at the same time, can be very weak when you are attacked by another one.
However, there is a strategy that might work well against most of your attackers. You will have to use your collectors and other useless buildings outside the walls of your village. In the middle of the base, you will want to have the Town Hall and storages and your defensive buildings such as cannons, mortars, archer towers, etc. This way, you will slow down your enemies and buy enough time for your defensive buildings to destroy the enemies before they reach your town hall and storages. You will also want to use your bombs or spring traps in the right spots, so making a little space between the outside buildings to trick the enemy to get there might do the job. To make this strategy work even better, always upgrade your walls in order to make the job even harder for your attacker.
