Another criterion to be remembered as you play Boom Beach is to ensure that your buildings have statues in front of them. This is because your opponents cannot do anything to statues and so you do not have to waste time protecting them. Moreover, if you place them in this position, your opponents will have to pass around them before they reach the building. This slows them down and your defense troops get more time to shoot them down.
Always ensure that your Boom Beach headquarters is safe. If your opponents take control of your headquarters, then you most definitely lose the game. You don’t want that to happen, do you? When your enemies have control over your headquarters, they get access to your medals also. One good way of protecting your headquarters is to place it towards the very end of the layout, preferably far away from the sand area. And of course, do use your defenses in an overlapped pattern as much as possible to render this protection. Once you have built your Boom Beach headquarters, do not fail to neglect it at any point of time. Upgrade it as much as possible whenever you think you have the necessary resources. Avoid placing your headquarters on the beachfront, since this is where the opponent troops start their attack. While upgrading your armory, you can help to reap new additional and better bonuses; it is advisable to finish the existing upgrades with their available armory capabilities. Don’t stay away from the computer-controlled islands although they are not as fun and challenging as the player-controlled islands. Their resources are few and are easier to conquer. Avoid wasting time trying to hide your statues, as your opponents will not be able to attack them.
Boom Beach takes its inspiration from Clash of Clans and resembles the game in many ways. However, the game presents its own differences, which make it just as interesting.
