Samsung Grand 2 vs Micromax Canvas Knight – Top Specs and Price Comparison

Here’s a smartphone you’ve probably haven’t heard of – Micromax Canvas Knight, which is very popular in India. It was released this year, just like the Grand 2, and we’ll compare these two devices to see which one has more advantages.

Displays and sizes

The Canvas Knight comes with a 5inches IPS LCD display and a higher screen resolution (1920x1080pixels) and pixel density (441ppi). The Canvas Knight’s primary camera has a double resolution – 16MP, having features such as LED flash, autofocus, 1080p video capture – same features supported by Grand 2’s 8MP rear camera. Also, the Samsung model has a 1.9MP front camera.

Batteries

The Canvas Knight’s battery is non-removable and it has the capacity of 2350mAh, which allows you to talk 7 hours and a half on the phone. The Grand 2 has a Li-Ion battery with the capacity of 2600mAh, which withstands up to 17hours when talking on 3G.

Connectivity

Both of these phones support WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, GPRS and microUSB 2.0. But only the Grand 2 offers DLNA.

Prices

The price of the Canvas Knight is around 318 dollars, while the Samsung Grand 2 costs 308 dollars.

The Canvas Knight’s advantages are the octa-core processor, a lot higher screen resolution, a better camera, more RAM + built-in internal storage, plus a newer Android OS version.

The Grand 2 has a bigger display, the internal memory can be expanded, has a removable battery and a higher capacity, plus it supports DLNA.
