Nokia and Samsung have always been rivals and tried to make low cost smartphones with high performances. But while Samsung prefers its devices to run on Android OS, Nokia is using Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS for most of its devices. Like the Lumia 920, the Galaxy S3 has an 8MP rear camera with many useful features, but it lacks HDR, although it supports video recording at 1080p and 30fps. The 1.9MP front camera provides an excellent video conferencing because it records, as well, at 720p and 30fps.

Battery

The Galaxy S3 could have had a more powerful battery, but its capacity of 2100mAh is good enough to support up to 10 hours of talk time. When used excessively, the phone lasts 6 hours and in standby mode, it withstands 790hours.
