Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Nexus 6 Release Date Delayed Because of iPhone 6

The release date for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Google Nexus 6 and some other upcoming Android phones will most likely be delayed because the iPhone is going to be launched soon, and Samsung doesn’t want to “scuffle” with Apple.

In concordance with DigiTimes, the idea that the iPhone 6 will be released by Apple in the second half of 2014 is giving a headache to the rest of the smartphone brands. A lot of manufacturers are concerned that they will most likely have some problems, because of the upcoming iPhone 6. It is already rumored that Apple has begun to assemble the upcoming iPhone 6 this month, and the phone will get in stores somewhere in September. DigiTimes wrote in a report that many vendors were looking to release some new high-end models in this years’ second half and most of them are worried of not getting access to enough supplies, since many components manufacturers will receive orders for the upcoming iPhone and they won’t have time to take care of other devices, too.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to be unveiled in early September, while Google Nexus 6 is not yet certain when it is going to be launched. However, Google didn’t announce all the details about the upcoming Nexus device, nor the manufacturer who’s going to build it.

We think that Samsung, Google and other producers who build Android devices or even Windows ones, will most likely postpone the release of their devices to avoid the “scuffle” with the iPhone 6. If they don’t delay the release dates, they will have supplying and sales problems.

Because of this, there are rumors saying that devices such as Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Google Nexus 6, Moto X+1 and LG G3 Prime will not be released until October 2014.
