In 2013, Samsung released the second generation of Grand smartphones and a miniature variant of the Galaxy S4. The devices are spectacular and offer exactly what you’re expecting from a high end smartphone. Displays and Sizes
The Galaxy Grand 2 has a much bigger display, with the size of 5.2inches. It’s a TFT screen with the resolution of 720x1280pixels and 280ppi, while the S4 Mini has a 4.3inches Super AMOLED display with a lower resolution – 540x960pixels and a pixel density of 246ppi. The S4 Mini’s display is protected from scratches by Gorilla Glass 2.

There isn’t a significant difference regarding the camera features for both of the smartphones. They share an 8MP rear camera with 3264 x 2448 pixels, LED flash, autofocus, but only the S4 features HDR and panorama. Also, the secondary camera on both devices is 1.9MP.
Batteries
Both phones have removable batteries, but Grand 2’s battery has a higher capacity – 2,600mAh, which allows you to talk 17hours on 3G, while the S4 Mini comes with a 1,900mAh battery which allows a talk time of 12hours, on 3G.

Both phones support Dual-SIM and Micro-SIM. The Grand 2 is available in the following colors: white, black and pink, while the S4 Mini comes in black, white and red.
