Nokia X vs Lumia 630 Dual SIM – Price and Specs Comparison

Today we thought we would compare two of Nokia’s devices that can come with a dual SIM feature: the Nokia Lumia 630 (which is the newest on the market and that can also be bought in a single SIM version) and the Nokia X (not to be confused with the Nokia XL, which is pricier than this one). If you’re interested in a dual SIM smartphone, keep reading to understand what to look for when buying a new handset, and more importantly, find out if you’re fond of either of these devices.

Processor

Nokia equipped the X handset with a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz that comes paired with the Snapdragon S4 Play chipset from Qualcomm and that shows off Adreno 203 graphics.

On the other hand, the company equipped its other device with a quad core processor working at 1.2 GHz that comes along the Snapdragon 400 chipset from Qualcomm and that shows off Adreno 305 GPU.

Display

The Nokia X features an IPS LCD touch screen that measures 4 inches. The resolution rendered on this device is of 800 x 480 pixels, while the pixel density is of 233 pixels-per-inch.

The Nokia Lumia 630 shows off an IPS LCD touch screen as well, but a little larger one, measuring 4.5 inches. The resolution is also a tad higher than the one on the X smartphone: 854 x 480 pixels. While the resolution is higher, the pixel density is inferior: 218 pixels-per-inch.

Internal memory and RAM

The X handset comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (if you choose to use a microSD card, you can expand this memory by up to 32GB).

The Lumia 630 smartphone supports 512MP of RAM and 8GB of internal storage space (by using a microSD card, you can expand this memory by up to 128GB).

Camera

Neither of these devices supports a secondary camera.

Regarding the primary camera, we can see that the Nokia X comes with a 3.5MP one that can shoot videos at a quality of 480p.

The Nokia Lumia 630 has a better 5MP main camera (autofocus + LED flash) that can shoot videos at a better quality of 720p.

Battery

Nokia equipped the X device with a 1500 mAh battery unit.

The battery that supports the Lumia 630 has a capacity of 1830 mAh.

Connectivity

Regardin connectivity, the only difference between the two handsets is that the Nokia X supports Bluetooth 3.0, while the Lumia 630 has Bluetooth 4.0. Otherwise, both devices show support for: EDGE, 3G, micro USB 2.0, GPRS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

Operating System

The Nokia X comes with an unique combination of operating systems: Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean + Nokia X 1.0 UI.

The Nokia Lumia 630 runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Dimensions and Weight

While the Lumia 630 has a larger screen, it is also surprisingly thinner (129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2 mm dimensions) than the Nokia X (115.5 x 63 x 10.4 mm dimensions). The later device is lighter than the first, weighing 128.7 grams (while the Nokia Lumia 630 weighs 134 grams).

You will find the Nokia X Dual SIM at the price of $129.04, while the Nokia Lumia 630 Dual SIM is priced at $192.00.
