Minecraft Xbox One and PS4 Release an Graphics Update by Dev

4J Studios are busy with the new version of Minecraft for the next-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which is scheduled to be released in August.

On July 18, the developer revealed a progress update to keep the players informed about what’s going on with the upcoming versions of their favorite game, Minecraft.

For now 4J Studios confirmed that most of the remaining work to do – regarding the Minecraft on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions – is related to removing bugs and some other known issues. With other worlds, they are on schedule, and most likely, the game will be released in August, as they firstly announced a few weeks ago.

However, there is still a big obstacle that the developer has to overcome in order to bring this game on time. That big obstacle is about transferring saved worlds, and the developers are working hard to make sure that the feature will work properly. When Minecraft will be released for the next-generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the players will be able to save their worlds from Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and import them to the next-generation consoles. This means that the players will be able to continue playing in the same world they created on their Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.

In addition, it seems that 4J Studios are currently making the final touches to the feature that will allow the players to import their saved worlds from the Minecraft: PlayStation 3 version to the upcoming MinecrafT: PlayStation Vita version.

The gamers who already own Minecraft on their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will be able to upgrade their Minecraft account to their next-generation console Xbox One or PlayStation 4 for 4.99 dollars. However, the new Minecraft players will have to pay 19.99 dollars to have Minecraft on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
