In August, Minecraft will be released for the next-generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We’ve seen some screenshots with “The Kelpies”, which was created for Minecraft: Xbox One edition.
According to GameRanx, Minecraft will run on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at 1080p/60fps and Roger Carpenter, who is the lead producer for Minecraft, confirmed these rumors.
The other good news for Minecraft fans is that they will be able to save and import their saved worlds from Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 to Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Not to mention that Minecraft on the next-generation consoles will have better graphics and the worlds will be 36 times larger than they are right now on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
