Some reports suggested that the iPhone 6 will be released in September 19, 2014. However, in a new report from China, it is specified that the iPhone 6 will be revealed one September 15 and released later, on September 25.
The Chinese web portal said that some “inside sources” confirmed this release date. The same report says that China will be one of the countries that will have in stores the iPhone 6, at the release date.
Deutsche Telekom, Apple’s network carrier partner, requested its call center employees to inform their customers that on September 19, the iPhone 6 will see the sunlight.
Besides Deutsche Telekom, the web portal Tencent said that iPhone 6 will be released Friday, on September 19, but they did not mention the 5.5inch variant, so perhaps this variant will be released a few days later. However, Bloomberg said that Apple will launch both of the 4.7inch and 5.5inch iPhone 6 models simultaneously.
China.com did reveal some information about iPhone 6’s price. It seems that the 4.7inch iPhone 6 (32GB) variant will be priced at 5.288 Yuan (which is about 850 dollars) and the 5.5inch iPhone 6 (16GB) variant will cost 5.998 Yuan (around 965 dollars).
In the same report, it is said that China Unicom and China Mobile started testing the iPhone 6 prototype on their 4G networks. For now, Apple did not confirm the release dates of their next generation devices.
We will most likely hear more from iPhone 6 in the following days, maybe Apple will finally come with an official release date.
