Apple’s iPhone 5S can offer a tough competition to the Samsung Galaxy S5, as the former is the finest of smartphones released by Apple.
Apple’s iPhone 5S has a chassis of metal and glass and is compact, being easily operable with a single hand. The Touch ID fingerprint feature of the iPhone 5S offers the latest technology compared to the swipe technology used in the S5. On the other hand, Samsung’s S5 is water resistant and offers a heart rate monitor feature on the back. The S5 from Samsung is 8.1 mm in thickness and is also heavier and bigger when compared to the iPhone 5S.
Apple is a company that is design driven and it shows in its devices. The iPhone 5S has a design almost similar to the iPhone 5 and offers a high end phone feel and look, whereas the S5 comes with a faux leather or plastic finish. The processors in both the devices are very fast and they have a good display. They offer excellent user interface experiences and an app experience that is lag-free. Samsung S5, however, offers many additional features, whereas the iPhone 5S offers a slimmer and more compact chassis.
