The iPhone 5S is competing with HTC One M8 as both these models are high end and come with a hefty price tag. The big question is which one among the two has an upper hand?
The Design and Appeal
While the technical specifications hold tremendous importance, it is important to explore the design and appeal too. The iPhone 5S has a smaller screen size measuring 4 inches. HTC One M8 sports a 5 inches display.
The resolution which you get with HTC One M8 is extremely impressive. The One M8 offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has a pixel density of 441 ppi. iPhone 5S on the other hand, offers 326 ppi and has a screen resolution of 1136 x 640.

HTC One M8 runs on QUALCOMM Snapdragon 801, 2.3 GHz quad core processor and has 2 GB of RAM. It also has a co processor too. iPhone 5S runs on a 64 bit A7 chip clocked at 1.37 GHz. Apple is known to offer killing performance output and you will definitely be impressed by the smooth operation it offers. The RAM capacity is 1 GB, but you will not face problems while multitasking as the 64 bit chip offers greater speed.
Comparing the above features, one can conclude that it is a close battle. Those who have been loyal Apple fans will stick to iPhone 5S because the brand popularity that Apple enjoys is undisputed. However HTC, One M8 too seems to be packed with some really brilliant specifications too.
