Most Hyped Phones Yet To Be Launched

Both the Nexus 6 and iPhone 6 are to be launched in 2014. With their upcoming launches both phones have caused a lot of rumors and gossips pertaining to their core specifications and how diversify they will be to the previous models of their brand. It seems as though both phones are likely to steal the center stage as they are both living up to world’s expectation. Nexus 6 is said to be to be released by Google in either October or November while iPhone 6 is said to be released by Apple on September 19.

The Specs

If the reports of the Nexus 6 and iPhone 6 are true, then these two phone are likely to have some of the most powerful specifications ever. There are reports that the Nexus 6 will be sporting a 5.5 inches screen with screen resolution of 4,560 x 1,440 (2K display) while the iPhone will have a 4.7 inch screen with a standard 1,080 x 1,920 screen resolution. The 2K screen resolution of the Nexus 6 will guarantee its users phenomenal viewing experiences. It is expected that two models of the iPhone 6 will be released, with one being a phablet (phone + tablet) which will have a 5.7 inches screen. The pixel strength of the iPhone 6 is to be 416 ppi while Nexus 6 will have a superior 534 ppi of pixel density.

The iPhone 6 is expected to have an anodized aluminum body and added protection with a sapphire glass covering the camera lenses and finger print scanner. The sapphire glass is said to be durable and robust and it will be difficult to break the device. Google Nexus 6 is expected to have aluminum edges with thin bezel, a change from its predecessor’s plain plastic exterior.

The Nexus 6 is expected to have a battery life of 3100 mAh, solving its predecessors battery problems while iPhone 6 will have a battery life of 1,700 and 2,000 mAh.

Both the iPhone 6 and Nexus 6 will be supporting Near Field Communication (NFC) and fingerprint scanners. Additionally, the Nexus 6 is expected to features a water and dust resistant exterior and hence the device is IP67 certified. However, there are no confirmations on the water/dust resistant exterior in iPhone 6.

Nexus 6 will be sporting a 13 MP and 5 MP rear and front facing cameras with features such as auto-focus and LED flash. Nexus 6 secondary camera will ensure that video calling is enjoyable for all its users. They are news stating that iPhone 6 will be rather camera smart with its 14 MP . It is expected to have to have optical image stabilization and therefore, the kind of resolution pictures will be having will be very impressive. iPhone’s camera will help users to take some of the best shots ever.

The Nexus 6 is reported to be powered by a quad core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 805) Krait 450 processor clocked at 2.7 GHz. The iPhone on the other hand, will be powered by a quad-core Apple A8 chipset, a feature which helps it to stand out amongs other smartphones and gives users a unique kind of experience regardless of how may applications they are using. The smart apple processor is expected to clock at 2.6 GHz. The Nexus 6 is expected to run on either Android 5.0 (Android L) or Android 4.5 OS, while the iPhone 6 will run on Apple’s latest iOS 8.

The Nexus 6 will house a solid 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage capacity. The iPhone 6 is expected to sport a 2 GB of RAM and will support 32 GB and 64 GB of internal storage capacity with no micro SD card support. But if rumors are to be believed then both devices might support micro SD card for memory expansion.

Nexus 6 or iPhone, Which One Will Consumers Choose?

According to an Indian mobile retailer, iPhone 6 is expected to be priced at $846 USD while the Nexus will be priced l at $655 USD. Both smartphones are awesome and will be wonderful for all of their users. The choice of which one users will choose will come down to consumers preferences between Google and Apple.
