FIFA 15 Confirms Messi as Its Global Cover Star

The world cup didn’t prove positive for Messi but Electronic Arts believes that he deserves his place one more time in FIFA 15 as the global cover star.

This is the fourth consecutive team that he has made it to the cover. Despite his not-so impressive performance at the World Cup finals, Messi is considered one of the top players in the world who has a great track record. He has won the Man of the Match title four times and scored many time during the latest match to help his country reach finals.

The 27-year old player has a much better standing in Barcelona team because of his powerful teammates and a better play is expected in the upcoming UEFA and other matches. Meanwhile, EA is gearing up to launch a new edition of their yearly football series which is said to feature an all new game engine. The engine is designed to make full use of the hardware power that Playstation 4 and Xbox One have to offer. It has also been confirmed that the PC version of the game will get the Ignite engine that was originally introduced first to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version. EA didn’t confirm other players who will be featured in the cover in select regions.

Messi All the Way

Messi has been a favorite for fans around the globe as well as EA who choose him as their global star for various titles. They featured him first for FIFA 13 which was released in 2012 and FIFA Street which got released in the same year. He was featured in the cover again with FIFA 14 launched in 2013 and now he will continue his good run with FIFA 15. To keep audience happy, regional stars will be featured in select territories but no official confirmation has been made yet.

The game is said to feature a whole bunch of new additions including new player moves, better ground that is responsive to every touch and slide, complete ball control and an all new level of AI which will give hardcore players a tough time to score a goal. Compared to PES, FIFA from EA has better presentation, graphics, and a game play mechanism that can be adopted by a majority of the gamers. Because of its user-friendly nature, the game has become hugely popular around the globe and it continues to dominate the sales charts.

All-New Features

FIFA 15 has a set of new features that the developers believe will impress their audience like never before. The visuals are said to be very so that you will actually be able to see a player’s chest pulse when he’s breathing hard and even see their hair move in unison with the speed with which they are running at the said moment. The Ignite engine is said to be the power behind all these new elements that got released last year on PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles but couldn’t show off its full potential because of the limited hardware power that they had. The new game is all set to impress soccer fans this fall.
