Fallout 4 – Possible Release by Bethesda During Two Major Events

After the release of Fallout 3: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda have been quiet about the release of a new sequel of this post-apocalyptic game franchise.

In these last three years, there were a lot of rumors about Fallout 4 and its release date, however Bethesda never confirmed any of those rumors. Back in January 2013, Erik Dellums, the voice of the “Three Dog” from Fallout 3, wrote on his twitter account that it’s possible to see a return of the game, mentioning that Bethesda gave him permission to post that online. The fans soon realized that it was just a hoax, since Bethesda didn’t want to comment that tweet.

At this year’s E3, a lot of fans expected a release date for the Fallout 4, or to see a game play, but none of those things happened. Pete Hines, during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, said that whatever rumor they heard about Fallout 4 is false and there is no release date scheduled for Fallout 4. However, he added that the game is still under development but he can’t give any information about it.

Now, the eyes are focused on the two big upcoming events: Gamescon and Tokyo Game Show. Many fans hope that they will finally get some news about this upcoming game on one of these two events. Gamescom is going to take place on August 14-17 and Toky Game Show on September 18-21.

Meanwhile, Bethesda was a little busy with the development of The Elder Scrolls Online for the next generation consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which is scheduled to be released somewhere in late 2014 or early 2015. The Elder Scrolls Online is currently available only for Windows PC and MAC.

We remind you that Bethesda is currently working on Doom 4, a game that will most likely go into BETA in Q4 of 2014.
