Base Layout
In Clash of Clans, you will need to have a good base layout, in order to “survive” in this game. Here are a few tips which will help you build a good base.
Collect Trophies
If you want to start collecting Trophies, you will firstly need to make sure that your Town Hall is well protected, because if the enemies will destroy it, they will automatically win the battle and you will lose some Trophies. You will want to put the Town Hall in the center of the village, and surround it with towers and cannons in order to protect it. Other structures you want to protect are the Elixir and Gold storages, so put them somewhere around the Town Hall.
Combinations of Troops
Here are some good combinations of troop you will want to have when you will start raiding.
Low Level Villages (1-3)
Barbarians, Goblins and Giants – This combination of troops will target the defensive buildings. At the end of raid, you can put some goblins in order to steal more resources.
Giants and Archers – Using this combo you will defend your archers from taking hits with your Giants, while the archers will hit from the distance. However, you will want to take care of the mortars, since they will most likely shot your archers.
Mid Level Villages (4-6)
Wall Breakers, Wizards and Giants – Wizards will deal some good splash damage from distance. After you deploy the Giants, you will want to deploy your wall breakers to avoid them from taking unnecessary damage.
High Level Villages (7-10)
Wall Breakers, Archers, Barbarians, Giants and Goblins – This combination is quite effecting, being in the same time pretty cheap. You will want to use these kinds of numbers when raiding: 6 Wall Breakers, 50 Archers, 30 Barbarians, 6 Giants and 50 Goblins.
