Boom Beach Better Than Clash of Clans – Find Out Why

If you used to play Clash of Clans in the past, like a maniac, we’re sure that you are looking at the “Boom Beach”. Most of the gamers who migrated from Clash of Clans to Boom Beach said that this is the game they always wanted to play. However, keep in mind that Boom Beach is developed by the same company that created Clash of Clans, Supercell, so we’re guessing that in this game, the developers fixed some issues from the Clash of Clans game – which the players were complaining about.

1. Less Time To Build

The first thing you’ll notice when you leave Clash of Clans and start playing Boom Beach is that you won’t wait so long to upgrade your buildings. For example, the longest upgrade time for your main building (to level 20) takes about two and a half days, which in Clash of Clans it takes you weeks to upgrade it to max level. To build a level 1 building it usually takes seconds in most of the cases. This is awesome, because after you upgrade your main building and unlock new buildings, you can create them very fast.

If you haven’t used real money in Clash of Clans, then you used the gems to buy Builders Hut, so you could have more workers, in order to upgrade two, three buildings at the same time. We all know that was wrong, and Supercell fixed this problem. In Boom Beach, you will use diamonds (which is the premium currency in here) mostly to speed things up.

2. Matchmaking and Single Player in Boom Beach

We all know that in Clash of Clans, even in single player mode, the game can be frustrating sometimes. For example, in Clash of Clans, when you attack, the computer it says that you can gain up to 4000 gold and 4000 elixir. You manage to get them, but you lose the battle anyway. Why would you raid again, and probably lose again, if you will not win resources?

In Boom Beach, if you win a battle, you gain the resources. If not, you don’t get anything. And these missions also reappear over time, so if you want to play only against the computer, you can do that without any problem.

In Boom Beach, there is no shield like in Clash of Clans, and in our opinion, the Shield in Clash of Clans is somehow wrong, since you can always ask a friend to attack your town hall, to get yourself a free shield overnight.

In Boom Beach you can also scout your enemy before you attack, and you will not get any penalty if you chose to skip it.

3. Boom Beach has a Gunboat

While you attack in Boom Beach, you also have a support a Gunboat, which can be used to destroy towers or other defensive buildings they have. They also come with flares, which you can use to guide your troops, so they won’t go straight to a mine and die. In Clash of Clans your troops will most likely attack the nearest target or the “preferred” one. With other words, in Boom Beach you have more control over your troops, which is way much fun than in Clash of Clans.
