Windows 9, Windows 8.1 Update 2 Release Date With Top Features and Security Update

Windows 9 is waited to be released in April 2015, and it is considered the “crucial” product that will most likely make Microsoft’s sales go higher than ever.

Microsoft has scheduled the new Windows 8.1 Update 2 somewhere between August and September 2014.

In concordance with BGR, this update will be available for free to Windows 8.1 users who already have the Update 1 installed on their devices.

Windows 9 New Features

In concordance with the hacker group WZOR, the Windows 9 Enterprise edition will most likely come with one of the most waited abilities to disable Metro 2.0.

Microsoft already scheduled an event between June 23-27, 2014, where Windows 8.1 Update 2 will probably get an “RTM Escrow” status.

“RTM Escrow” is a status where the development of a product has stopped and the finalizing has begun. With other words, no new feature will be added to it, it only gets “polished”.

There are rumors saying that the Windows 9 Enterprise Edition might get rid of the cloud based integration. And if these rumors are true, Windows’s classic “Start Menu” will not come with Windows 8.1’s Update 2 and it will most likely come on Windows 9.

More Security

According to BGR, Microsoft employees are provided with their own Windows OS copies, which will track down informants easier.

This new security policy is targeting employees from Microsoft’s China offices. It seems that China is one of the major sources of Windows OS leaks.

Also, the Chinese Government announced that they are “running” from Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 and they don’t want them on the Government’s systems. It seems that the main reason is because of the new cloud/modern UI integration in Windows 8.

Are you waiting for the classic Windows’ Start Menu to come back?
