Sony Xperia T2 Ultra vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra – Top Specs and Price Comparison

If you’re a fan of phablets with massive displays, then here are two suggestions for you: the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia Z Ultra. They act like a phone but they think like a tablet. Displays and sizes

The Xperia T2 Ultra’s screen is an IPS LCD with the size of 6 inches, which is able to support a resolution of 720x1280pixels. The Xperia Z Ultra is a full HD phablet whose 6.4 inches screen renders a higher resolution – 1080x1920pixels.

Both phablets come loaded with Android Jelly Bean OS, but the Xperia Z Ultra’s OS version is upgradeable to the KitKat version. The first device has 1GB of RAM, while the second phablet is equipped with 2GB of RAM.


The Xperia T2 Ultra has a better primary camera, which has a resolution of 13MP and features such as LED flash and autofocus. It also has a 1.1MP secondary camera, which is weaker than Xperia Z’s front camera – 2MP. On the other hand, the second device loses in this category because its rear camera is of only 8MP.


Both devices come with non-replaceable batteries, but they have slightly different capacities: 3000mAh – the Xperia T2 Ultra, on which you can talk 24 hours, or you can listen to music for approximately 93 hours; and 3050mAH – the Xperia Z Ultra, on which you can talk 16 hours on 3G, or listen to music for 120 hours.
