It also comes with dual camera, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The S Pen stylus also has been upgraded for better functionality. The device has an internal memory of 32 or 64 GB with 3 GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition is the new generation of Android based tablet computer in the Galaxy Note series. It comes in two variants viz., the 3G+ Wi-Fi, and the Wi-Fi + LTE option. It also comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera along with updated S Pen stylus. The device has an internal memory of 16, 32 or 64 GB with 3 GB RAM.

Dimensions and Display

The dimensions of Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 measures 295.6mm x 203.9mm x 8mm of height, width, and display respectively. The tablet weighs approximately 750gms. The 12.2 inches Super clear LCD multi touchscreen with 2560×1600 pixels resolution makes it a must have product.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition measures 243.1mm x 171.4mm x 7.9mm of height, width, and display respectively. The tablet is smaller than Note Pro 12.2 and weighs less than the latter. The Note 10.1 2014 weighs 540gms. It encompasses a 10.1 inches LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.

Hardware and Software

The Note Pro 12.2 is powered with Samsung Exynos 5420 SoC or Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor and Adreno 330 GPU. The device runs on Android OS v4.4 (KitKat) operating system.

The Note 10.1 2014 edition is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU. The device runs on Android OS v4.3 (Jelly Bean) operating system.

Price

The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is priced at $899.99 whereas, the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition is priced at $949.99.

There is a big difference between the price of these two new generation tablets; however, the Note Pro 12.2 has more power and updated operating system than Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.
