Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – 5.7inches QHD Display Confirmed, Plus Top Features

The new leaked information about one of the most waited phablets, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, confirms some of the rumored specifications. The Galaxy Note 4 will most likely be launched at IFA Expo which is held on September 3, 2014.

Galaxy Note 4’s predecessor, the Note 3, was launched also in the same month, last year, and it had a sale record of 12 million units after 2 months after its launch.

The Galaxy Note 3’s price on amazon.com is 545 dollars and the Note 4 is expected to cost around 800 dollars.

So… what’s new?

Some reports say that the Galaxy Note 4 is being evaluated and tested in Samsung’s centre in India. It seems that SM-N910 is actually the Note 4’s number, and it was recently been spotted in the “Zauba”’s database. This database keeps track of all the shipment details from and to India. These reports also indicate that the Galaxy Note 4 will come with a 5.7inches display, which supports a resolution of 2560x1140pixels.

Other features

There is a big chance that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will come in two models: a curved model with an OLED display, and a model with a flat screen. However, the curved OLED display variant might be released only for some specific markets.

Some reports say that the Note 4 will come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, clocked at 2.5GHz, while others say that it will come with an octa-core 64 bits processor. It will most likely have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. As for the operating system, it will most likely run on the upcoming Android 4.5 Lollipop.

The Note 4 is expected to come with a primary camera of 20.7MP along with a 5MP front facing camera. If these rumors are true, this upcoming device will support 4K video recording – similar to LG G3 and Sony Xperia Z2. The Galaxy Note 4 will come with a “massive” battery of 3600mAh.
