Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs LG G Pro 2 – Features and Price Comparison

These phablets are a necessity for those who need a smartphone with the dimensions and features of a phablet. And today we’ll compare two extraordinary devices, the improved successors of the LG Pro and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. You’ll be amazed how powerful and smart they are, and their prices aren’t very high.

Displays and sizes

The G Pro 2 has a True IPS+LCD display with the size of 5.9 inches and a resolution of
1080x1920pixels. The same resolution supports the Galaxy Note 3, but this phablet has a slightly smaller display, a Super AMOLED screen of 5.7inches.

Hardware and OS

Both devices have two variants of internal storage – 16 and 32 GB, expandable up to 64GB. In terms of processors, the G Pro 2 has a quad core krait 400 processor clocked at 2.26GHz, and its chipset is a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800, while the Galaxy Note is more efficient, because the quad core krait 400 processor is clocked at 2.3GHz. The phablet comes also with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset.

One phablet – the G Pro 2 is an Android running on the KitKat version with 3GB of RAM, and the other tablet – the Galaxy Note 3, also an Android, is running on the Jelly Bean version with the same 3GB of RAM.


Both phablets are equipped with awesome primary cameras of 13MP that pack features such as LED flash and autofocus. The secondary cameras are of 2.1MP – in the case of G Pro 2, and 2MP – Galaxy Note 3.


14 hours on 3G – this is the maximum time duration spent on the G Pro 2, talking to your friends. And this is because the device has a Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 3200mAh. The same capacity has Galaxy Note 3’s battery, but you can talk 21 hours on 3G on this device.


The LG G Pro 2 16GB 4GLTE version can be purchased from at the price of 536 dollars. The Galaxy Note 3 16GB 4GLTE version is 60 dollars more expensive.
