Nokia is trying hard to keep up with its rival’s achievements, but in most of the battles, loses in front of Samsung’s products. Once again, it has to accept its defeat because the Lumia 520 can’t rise to Galaxy Core Advance’s level. 

The Lumia 520 is better because….

Although both of the phones have the same screen resolution of 480x800pixels – pretty low we might say – the Lumia 520 is equipped with an IPS-LCD screen, which offers a better image quality than Galaxy Core’s display. Also, the Lumia 520 supports 235ppi, a lot higher than Galaxy Core’s 199ppi.

On the Lumia 520, you can download music for free, without Digital rights management, but afterwards, you’ll be required to purchase a subscription, if you want more Nokia music. So, if you’re a music lover, the music library offered by the giant tech will provide you awesome songs.

But these are the only main advantages of the Lumia 520.

The Core Advance is better because…

Samsung’s Core Advance has a bigger display – 4.7inches, compared to Lumia 520’s 4inches screen. It has a VGA front camera which is very useful for video calls, while the Lumina 520 doesn’t come with one. What they have in common is the 5MP primary camera. The Core Advance hides under its hood a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is faster than Lumia’s processor that is clocked at 1GHz. Nokia’s model has only 512MB of RAM, while the Core Advance has 1GB of RAM.

More differences

The Nokia Lumia 520 has a 1430mAh battery that lasts 9-14hours when talking on it. The Core’s 2000mAh battery lasts longer. So, the Lumia 520 has Nokia Music and two very loud speakers, while the Core Advance has FM and one loudspeaker, but which has noise filtrations. The Nokia Lumia 520 8GB variant can be found at the price of 109 dollars on amazon.com. The Core Advance costs around 240 dollars.
